Recently acquired by Dometic, CDI Electronics of Huntsville, Alabama has been a leading provider of alternators, ignition systems products, battery monitoring systems and other technology for the boating industry for more than 30 years.   Founded in 1982 as Rapair Incorporated, the company had humble beginnings operating from a rented garage in Madison, Alabama.  The need across the industry for quality service and products led to rapid growth, and in 1995 CDI Electronics was born.   Over three decades, CDI expanded its product line and its industry reputation for excellence, culminating in achieving ISO 9001 Certification in 2014.  That same year, CDI Electronics acquired Balmar, a leader in high power DC charging systems for the boating industry.
